RUSH TOP RAGE FOR SECOND STRAIGHT TIME AT HOME

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush faced off against their division rival, the Rocky Mountain Rage, on a festive New Years Eve at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The Rush made up some lost ground in the division with a 4-2 win over the Rage.

RAPID CITY’S RICH HANSEN NAMED STARTER ON CHL ALL-STAR TEAM

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush are proud to announce the selection of Rich Hansen selected as a starter on the Central Hockey League’s 2008-2009 All-Star Team. For Hansen, this is his second appearance at the All-Star game, first as a starter.

SUNDOGS COMPLETE SWEEP OF RUSH

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush fell short against the Arizona Sundogs for the second straight night on Saturday by a score of 2-1. The Sundogs were led by Karl Sellan’s third goal of the weekend as well as the steady goaltending of Marco Emond who made 33 saves on 34 shots.

(Rapid City, SD) – The Arizona Sundogs topped the Rapid City Rush by a 3-0 score in front of a sellout crowd at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena. The Rush were held off of the scoreboard for the first time in their history.

RAPID CITY BEATS DIVISION RIVAL FOR SECOND TIME

(Wichita, KS) – The Rapid City Rush made it a perfect 2-and-0 against division opponent the Wichita Thunder as they picked up a 2-1 win in the Kansas Coliseum. Rapid City’s R.G. Flath snapped a 13-game goal-less drought as Miguel Beaudry made 29 saves for his 7th victory of the season.

GORILLAS TOP RUSH FOR SECOND TIME

(Amarillo, TX) – The Rapid City Rush returned to familiar faces in Amarillo for the second time this season. In what turned out to be a high scoring game, the Gorillas came out on top, 7-5.

RAGE ANSWER BACK WITH DRAMATIC 3-2 WIN OF THEIR OWN

(Broomfield, CO) – After a close 3-2 Rush win over the Rocky Mountain Rage just two nights earlier, the Rage countered with a 3-2 win of their own. Aaron Davis scored two goals including the game-winner in overtime to lift the Rage over the Rush.

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush were able to pick up their first-ever win over division rival, the Rocky Mountain Rage by a score of 3-2. Rapid City was lifted to victory with 3 unanswered goals including late-game heroics from Chris Lipsett who scored the game-winning goal with just 29 seconds left.

RAPID CITY FIRES 5 BACK AT THE MUDBUGS FOR THE WIN

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush bounced back against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Saturday night as they pulled out a 5-2 victory. The Rush were lifted to victory with the help of two-goal performances by Chris Di Ubaldo and Derek LeBlanc.
