RUSH POWERED BY THREE FIRST PERIOD GOALS, TOP RIVERKINGS 4-1

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rush continued their hot streak with a 4-1 win to complete the sweep over the Mississippi RiverKings on Saturday night. The Rush received goals from four different skaters and Miguel Beaudry made 29 saves for his fifth win of the season. Rapid City has now won four straight games and five of its last six to leapfrog over Mississippi in the CHL’s Northern Conference standings.

(Rapid City, SD) – On Friday night, the Rapid City Rush would head to their second overtime game of the season at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The Rush did not disappoint the sellout crowd as captain Luke Fritshaw scored two goals including the game-winner for the 4-3 victory. With the win, the Rush now enter their first-ever winning streak and have now won four of their last five games.

(Rapid City, SD)— Thursday, December 3, The Rush Hockey Team and the Rapid City Arts Council will hold a “Rush for the Arts at the Dahl” Event from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Dahl Arts Center on 7th Street. Rush for the Arts at the Dahl is being held to raise awareness of the final week of ticket sales for the Sweet Home Dakota House Raffle. By working together The Rush organization will promote their ticket sales, players, and dance team to build community support for hockey.

(Wichita, KS) – The Rapid City Rush topped the Wichita Thunder 3-1 on Wednesday night for their first ever back-to-back road wins. The Rush were dominant on special teams once again, scoring two powerplay goals on five chances while holding the Thunder scoreless on seven powerplay opportunities. Rapid City is now 3-1-1 in their last five, including 2-0-1 in their last three road games to move to .500 away from the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.

(Rapid City, SD) – On Monday, the Rapid City Rush received the good news that winger Derek LeBlanc would rejoin the squad after he began the season with the American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose. Last year, LeBlanc became an impact player for Rapid City where he finished second on the team with 26 goals.

(Loveland, CO) – On Saturday, the Rapid City Rush picked up their first win ever at the Budweiser Events Center by a score of 3-2. The Rush turned the tables from the night before as they dominated the special teams. The Rush scored twice on seven powerplay while holding the Eagles scoreless on nine total powerplays including three 5-on-3 chances. Rapid City evened the season series at 2-2, and came away with two wins in their first three game series against Colorado.

(Rapid City, SD) – On Friday, the Eagles dominated the special teams and after giving up the game’s first goal, used four unanswered to beat the Rush 4-1. The game was littered with penalties as both teams combined for 19 powerplays.

(Rapid City, SD) – On Tuesday, the Rapid City Rush dropped the Colorado Eagles by a score of 3-2 in the first meeting between the two squads at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The Eagles loss marks only the second regulation loss for Colorado this season.

(Rapid City, SD)— Players of the Rapid City Rush hockey team are scheduled to make two appearances this week at two different Rapid City businesses. The first appearance will occur tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th. Fans will be able to join the players at Boston’s shortly after the Tuesday night home game against the Colorado Eagles. The second appearance is scheduled for the following afternoon of Wednesday, November 18th, at the Verizon Wireless kiosk in the Rushmore Mall from 5 pm to 6 pm. Rush fans are invited to attend both appearances, meet the players, and bring their own memorabilia for autograph signings.
