RUSH FALL IN SHOOTOUT AGAINST KILLER BEES

(Hidalgo, TX) - The Rapid City Rush were forced into extra play for the third time this season and for the third time in four games, fell in the shootout.  The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees came away with a 4-3 victory and sent the Rush to a 1-0-3 record.  Leading the way for Rapid City was Rich Hansen who picked up two more goals and continues to lead the Central Hockey League (CHL) in scoring.

RUSH MAKE HISTORY WITH FIRST WIN

On Friday night, the Rapid City Rush collected the first win in franchise history with an 8-2 victory over the Corpus Christi IceRays.  Leading the way for Rapid City was Chris Lipsett who made his way into the record books again by picking up the first hat-trick in franchise history.

RUSH COME UP SHORT AGAIN IN SHOOTOUT

(Loveland, CO) – The Rapid City Rush found themselves in another high-scoring, hard fought game with the Colorado Eagles, and for the second straight night, the Eagles came out on top with a shootout victory.  The special teams were key as there were seven power-play goals scored in the contest that ended up in a 5-4 win for Eagles.
