(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush would like to invite all Rush fans and Rapid City area residents to the 1st Annual Rapid City Rush Foundation Community Picnic to be held at Memorial Park on Saturday from Noon to 3pm. The fundraising event is open to the public and will feature food, beverages, activities and both live and silent auctions. The Rush will also unveil the two latest additions to the squad. The newcomers announced will serve as Player-Assistants for the 2009-10 season.

Arizona State boasts a strong Division I Club Hockey program and is a member of the Independent Conference in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
RUSH TO ASSIST YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES FOR FUN RUN

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush in coordination with Youth & Family Services Girls Incorporated® Health Connections is sponsoring the 3K Fun Run/Walk for members Aug. 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Sioux Park. The end of summer Fun Run will promote physical fitness as well as overall health and wellness. Rush players and Nugget will be in attendance to assist with the second annual event.

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush announced today that this year’s hockey season will begin with two home exhibition games on Friday, October 9th and Saturday, October 10th against the Amarillo Gorillas. Tickets for the first-ever home exhibition games will be made available on Monday, August 17th at 10am.

(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush would like to invite fans out to Summer Nights in downtown Rapid City tonight from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Newly re-signed Rush players Gio Flamminio and Jamie VanderVeeken will be in attendance to sign autographs from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The Rush booth will be located on Seventh Street and will offer at no cost Rapid City Rush temporary tattoos, hula hoops with instructions by the Rushettes, and a shooter tutor for fans to test their hockey skills. Nugget will also be making appearance this evening at the Rush tent on Seventh Street in downtown Rapid City. Rapid City Rush will be there from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Rush will host a pair of preseason games against the Amarillo Gorillas
RAPID CITY – The 2009-10 Central Hockey League (CHL) schedule has been officially announced, with the 480-game season beginning on Friday, October 16th in seven locations, and concluding on Saturday, March 20th also with seven contests. Each of the CHL’s 15 member clubs will play a 64 game schedule with 32 games at home and on the road.
