Rapid City Rush is pleased to announce half and quarter season pick-a-pack tickets are now available for the 2008-2009 Season. Half and quarter season packages start at $100. Season tickets for all 32 home games are still available and start at $399.50.

Rapid City Rush announced today that the time of their home opener against Colorado Eagles on November 29th, 2008 has changed from 7:05 pm to 2:05 pm. There was a scheduling conflict with the local Parade of Lights and the team moved their start time up to accommodate this long-standing community parade.

CHL’s 17th Season Begins on Friday, October 17th
The 2008-09 Central Hockey League (CHL) schedule has been announced, with the 512-game season beginning on Friday, October 17th in seven locations, and concluding on Saturday, March 21st with eight contests. Each of the CHL’s 16 member clubs will play a 64 game schedule with 32 games at home and on the road. Just over 75% of the games will take place on Fridays (33.9%), Saturdays (35.1%) or Sundays (6.3%).
Central Hockey League Extends Partnership with Sher-Wood

Sher-Wood Will Be Official Equipment Supplier of CHL Through 2009-10 Season
The Central Hockey League (CHL), in conjunction with Sher-Wood, announced today that the two companies have extended their partnership for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. The agreement keeps the Sherbrooke, Quebec based company as the “Official Equipment Supplier” of the CHL and the exclusive stick, pant and glove supplier to the league. The CHL and Sher-Wood originally partnered in the spring of 2004.

The Rapid City Rush today announced the addition of Mark DeSantis as the second Player-Assistant under Head Coach Joe Ferras. The two have had experience with the system as DeSantis served as a Player-Assistant for the Amarillo Gorillas from 2002-2004 during which Ferras was head coach.
