Rush Adds ‘Flair’ to Central States Fair

Rapid City Rush has joined the line-up at this year’s Central States Fair, August 15th – 23rd. The team will sponsor a booth at the Fair August 21, 22 and 23 from 12 pm to 8 pm. Rush will offer a variety of activities for children ranging from Rush temporary tattoos to puck shooting competitions and will also have staff available to answer questions about the upcoming season and season tickets.

Rush Announces Media Relations Director / Broadcaster

Nieves The Rapid City Rush is proud to announce the addition of former Bowling Green State University broadcaster Daniel Nieves to its organization. Nieves, 23, will serve as Media Relations Director as well as handle play-by-play duties for the expansion Rush.

2008-09 CHL Schedule to be Released Friday

Rapid City Rush to Release Inaugural Season Schedule on July 18th

The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that the 2008-09 regular season schedule will be released on Friday, July 18th. The 512-game schedule begins on Friday, October 17th with seven games and concludes on Saturday, March 21st with eight games.

Rush Head Coach Joe Ferras announced today the signing of forward Derek LeBlanc. LeBlanc
was the second selection for Rapid City Rush during the CHL Expansion Draft in Phoenix, Arizona this past June.
