THUNDER COME BACK TO COMPLETE SWEEP OF THE RUSH

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush took on the Wichita Thunder in the second game of their doubleheader after dropping Friday night’s game, 4-2.  The Rush were hoping to turn things around in front of a sold out crowd at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena where they were celebrating Military Appreciation Night.  After giving up the lead twice, the Rush would drop this game, 3-2.

RUSH FALL TO THE THUNDER 4-2

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush began their weekend doubleheader against the Wichita, looking to redeem a disappointing loss against division rival, the Rocky Mountain Rage on Wednesday.  The Rush were able to pick up the first goal of the game, but later came up short, dropping the game, 4-2.

RAGE STEAMROLL RUSH IN 7-1 VICTORY

RUSH DOMINATE OILERS IN 5-1 VICTORY

(Tulsa, OK) – The Rapid City Rush were looking to avenge their loss from a night before to the Tulsa Oilers, and they were able to do so by toppling the Oilers 5-1.  Rush goaltender Lanny Ramage picked up his third victory of the season and was just 28 seconds short of his first shutout.

RUSH RAISE OVER $50,000 FOR BREAST CANCER TREATMENT & RESEARCH

(Rapid City, SD) – On Saturday night, the Rapid City Rush hosted “Pink at the Rink Night” in which Rush players sported special pink jerseys, sponsored by Neugebauer’s Fine Jewelry, that were auctioned off after the game.  Coupled with the efforts of R.G. Flath and the rest of the players, the Rush are proud to announce that over $50,000 has been raised to help in the fight against breast cancer.  All of the money raised will be split among the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation of South Dakota and the Rapid City Regional Hospital Foundation.

BLAZERS COMPLETE SWEEP OF RUSH 3-1

(Rapid City, SD) - It was “Pink at the Rink” night as the Rapid City Rush hosted the Oklahoma City Blazers in the second game of their doubleheader.  The Rush were hoping to avenge a 4-2 loss handed to them by the Blazers the night before but the Blazers would complete the weekend sweep as they topped the Rush, 3-1.

BLAZERS TOP RUSH IN FIRST VISIT TO RAPID CITY

RUSH PICKUP FIRST SHOOTOUT VICTORY 2-1 OVER GORILLAS

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush began a much needed home stand against the Amarillo Gorillas Wednesday night looking to get back on track after a disappointing road trip.  For the second straight game and seventh time this season,, the Rush headed to a shootout, and for the first time, Rapid City came out on top as they defeated the Gorillas 2-1.
