(Independence, MO) – As the Turner Conference playoff hunt continued on Tuesday night, the Rapid City Rush earned a vital two points with a 4-3 shootout win over the Missouri Mavericks. Collin Circelli poured in a pair of goals, including the game winner, while goaltender Tim Boron stifled all five Mavericks attempts in the shootout. The Rush now have a two point advantage over the Quad City Mallards for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Turner Conference. The Mallards visit the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center for a pair of pivotal games set for this Friday and Saturday, February 24th and 25th. Reeder’s Two Goals Fuel Rush in 4-3 Win over Bucks

Erik Boisvert potted a pair of goals for the Bucks, but Jeff Kyrzakos and Scott Wray had goal and an assist each for Rapid City, securing the ‘W’. Rush Help Raise over $30,000 for the Fight against Cancer; Players to Shave Heads Today at the Man Salon @ 2:30

(Rapid City, SD) – At last Thursday and Friday’s home games against the Missouri Mavericks, the Rapid City Rush hosted their fourth annual “Pink at the Rink” event. With numerous promotions taking place and players auctioning off specialty jerseys, the Rush helped raise $33,600 to be donated to the Rapid City Regional Hospital Foundation. Through four ‘Pink at the Rink’ fundraisers, the Rush organization has now raised nearly $200,000 for the fight against cancer.

Mallards Pick Up 3-2 Win Over Rush

(Moline, IL) – With Turner Conference positioning on the line, the Quad City Mallards came away with a 3-2 win over the Rapid City Rush at the i-Wireless Center on Tuesday night. The Rush held a 2-1 advantage in the final period, but a pair of goals just 21 seconds apart led the Mallards to the win and fourth place in the Turner Conference.
