Tim Hill is no stranger to the ins and outs of hockey. He joined the expansion Rush in September 2007 after completing a successful run as the Assistant General Manager for the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. This season Hill will take the reins as the new General Manager of the Rapid City Rush. Hill's career in hockey began on the ice where he spent four years as a professional hockey player before taking his knowledge and experiences from the ice into the front office. He begins his eighth season in the front office and his 12th with the Central Hockey League.
Hill received a Business Degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Tim was recently married to wife Stephanie, and the two of them along with her three daughters, Kylie, Mackenzie, and Ashlyn, reside in Sturgis.

Darcy Zandstra

Darcy Zandstra joined the Rush at its conception in August 2007. Zandstra’s previous marketing experiences are expansive including several years as an Account Executive for the local ad agency Robert Sharp & Associates where she first met Rush co-owner Scott Mueller. She joined Mueller’s staff in 2005 as Marketing Manager for his residential construction company Mandalay Homes, LLC. No stranger to the fast-paced world of professional sports, Zandstra still oversees the marketing and advertising needs of Mandalay Homes, LLC in addition to her role as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Rush.
She is a native of eastern South Dakota and before making Rapid City her home, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Journalism with a minor in Chemistry from Colorado State University. Darcy and her husband Chad reside in Rapid City and in her spare time she enjoys running, boating and traveling. Zandstra is also a licensed real estate agent and enjoys selling real estate in the off-season.

John Hess, a native of Fort Collins, CO, begins his second season with the Rapid City Rush. Hess joined the Rush at the conclusion of the 2008 – 2009 World Series of Poker Tournament where he worked as an intern in Public and Media Relations in Las Vegas, NV. Hess attended college at the University of Northern Colorado and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing in May 2008 from the Monfort College of Business. Hess began as an Account Executive when he first joined the Rush in August 2008, but shortly after became the Director of Game Operations. Hess dutifully ensures Rush fans enjoy every minute spent with the Rush and oversees all game night entertainment. His passion for enjoyment enables him to provide top-quality entertainment each and every night the Rush take to the ice.
Josh Roehr

Josh Roehr begins his third season within the Central Hockey League and second as Director of Ticket Operations. Prior to joining the Rush staff in their inaugural season, Josh got his start in ticket sales as an intern for the Kansas City Chiefs. Soon after earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in Sports Management, Roehr was hired by Wichita Pro Sports (Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League and Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association of Independent Baseball) as an Account Executive and later promoted to Marketing Manager. Josh and his wife Kelli reside in Rapid City and he is an avid fan of the Oakland Raiders, Oakland Athletics, and the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as his Alma Mater, the Kansas Jayhawks.
Trevor Bowers

Trevor Bowers begins his second season as an Account Executive for the Rapid City Rush. Bowers attended and played football at both the University of Toledo (Ohio) and the University of Sioux Falls (South Dakota). Bowers enjoyed winning the National Championship in 2006 while playing football for the University of Sioux Falls. This Bryan, Ohio native is not only competitive on the football field but also in his ticket sales for the Rush. He often leads the team in group sales and recently won the Group Sales contest. Trevor recently added ‘dad’ to his list of accomplishments with the birth of his daughter Bailey this past fall. When he’s not skating at the rink he enjoys boating and spending time with his family and friends as well as spoiling his daughter Bailey.
Denny Majeske

Denny Majeske is the lone Rapid City native on the Rush staff. Upon graduation from the University of Wyoming, Majeske joined the Rush as a game operations intern before being hired as an Account Executive. He specializes in season ticket sales and organizing group nights for the Rush. Majeske majored in marketing and graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Wyoming. While attending college Denny served two years as a Marketing & Promotions intern for the University of Wyoming’s Athletic Department where he was involved in game day operations and promotions for all varsity sports and organizing and obtaining funding for the annual statewide Sports Festival youth program.
Outside of work, Denny is an avid runner and finished seventh overall and first in the 19-24 age division of the 2008 Deadwood Mickelson Trail Half Marathon in 1:21.45. He also enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding.
Brandon Schumacher

Brandon Schumacher was born in Colorado Springs, CO but spent his childhood years in Edgemont, SD. After graduating from Edgemont High School, Shumacher attended Black Hills State University. He moved to Rapid City in October 2008 and started as intern for the Rush in November. In January 2009, Shumacher was put on as an Account Executive for Rapid City Rush. This summer Brandon will be celebrating his one year anniversary with wife BreAnna. When he’s not organizing intermission events Brandon enjoys participating in sports especially golf and snowboarding.
Daniel Nieves

Daniel Nieves enters his second season as the “voice” of the Rapid City Rush. In his first season as Media Relations Director/Broadcaster, Nieves covered all 64 Rush home and away games as well as hosted “The Rush Hour with Head Coach Joe Ferras,” a weekly coaches show live from Boston’s.
Before joining the Rush, Nieves handled the play-by-play duties for the Bowling Green State University Falcons of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) and prior to that spent four seasons as color-commentator for the Falcons. During his time as color-commentator, Nieves was named “Hockey Broadcaster of the Year” by the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization for three consecutive years. Along with his play-by-play duties, Nieves also hosted a weekly radio call-in show “In The Box” that covered Falcon hockey, CCHA and NHL. The show featured players and coaches in studio each week, and in only its second year, “In The Box” was named “Show of the Year” by BGRSO.
Nieves is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a major in Telecommunications.
