(Rapid City, SD) – The Rapid City Rush made a valiant effort to force a game #7 of the Turner Conference Semifinals and extend their 2011-12 season on Tuesday night. After scoring a late goal to force overtime, the Rush seemed poised to do so, but the Fort Wayne Komets potted the game-winner just 51 seconds in for the 4-3 triumph.

(Rapid City, SD) – In a bizarre twist, the Rapid City Rush organization is in the midst of a crisis as one of its employees is aiming to sabotage tomorrow’s pregame ceremony. Nugget, the Rush mascot, has stolen the official ‘Best Fans in the CHL’ banner and taken it hostage on the roof of the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The organization planned on unveiling the banner prior to Tuesday’s game #6 which is set for Tuesday, April 10th at 6:35pm.
